Overview

Classic Industries and Exports Limited predominantly focuses on products supporting the tyre industry. The company started its first plant at Ranjangaon, near Pune in 1996 with the production of inner tubes for all tyres. Subsequently we have expanded our base to Chennai and Kochi. we presently have three manufacturing facilities in Pune, Chennai and Kochi respectively, with a total of around 2700 employees.

Our product range consists of high quality moulds, Tyre building equipments, inner tubes and bladders. Additionally we also have a facility to mix different types of rubber compounds, including REACH compliant compounds, as per customers’ requirements.

 

Pune

Pune Plant situated at Ranjangaon, near Pune, is the largest capacity inner tube manufacturing plant in India. The plant has a capacity to produce 26000 tubes per day ranging from Tubes for Passenger & Commercial Vehicles, Two-Wheelers and OTR categories.

We also produce Bladders used for tyre manufacturing and we are the only manufacturer in India to make bladders through injection moulding.

Kochi

CIEL Kochi Facility is located in Ernakulam, at Rubber Park Airapuram, near Kochi in South Indian state of Kerala.

The facility is equipped with three F – 270 Banbury Mixers with PLC controlled Temperature / Time / Energy based operations , thus offering flexibility to run at required speed for any compound.

It is capable of storing 300 recipes for easy change over, with facilities like automatic Carbon charging and automatic Oil changing. The facility is capable of making REACH compliant compound.

Chennai

CIEL – Chennai Facility is located at Oragadam, near Chennai in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The plant has the following two divisions:

Mould Division

The Mould Division started in 2011 with a technical know how from AZ- Germany. The present Capacity of the plant is 168 Moulds + 120 containers per year and it is being expanded to the capacity of 300 + Moulds per year. The plant is certified by TUV-SUD India (ISO 9001) for Quality Management systems. The division is currently developing moulds for bladders.

Machinery Division

The Machinery Division consists of the following 

  • PCR Tyre Building Machine of 12-16” Size and 14-20” Size ( 2 Stage)
  • TBR Tyre Building Machine
  • PCR TBM Toolings ( 12” – 20” Sizes)
  • Retrofit of Capstrip applicator on existing machines
  • Wind-Up System
  • TBR Bead Apexing Drum
  • Auto Stock Loader
